The interface layer is moving closer to autonomous action, and design hasn't caught up
Grok Bot and Raycast both assume users want AI to act first and interrupt second, but most product flows were built for the opposite. The design system agent piece reinforces the same gap: the tooling exists, but the specs, standards, and approval checkpoints needed to make AI output trustworthy are still missing. The next month of design work is less about adding AI features and more about deciding exactly where human judgment has to stay in the loop.
