Claude Design handles decks as well as product screens. The mental model is the same, goal, layout, content, audience, but the content block does more work. Feed it the full narrative (bullets per slide) and Claude produces an on-brand deck in minutes.

Goal: A 6-slide pitch deck for our Series A announcement.
Layout: Title slide, problem, solution, traction, team, ask. One section per slide.
Content:
  Slide 1: "AI UX Design, built by designers" + company logo
  Slide 2: Problem. 72% of product designers say AI tools don't fit existing workflows
  Slide 3: Solution, curated pattern library + interactive demos + designer-ready briefs
  Slide 4: Traction. 25K monthly visitors, 1,400 newsletter subscribers, 36 patterns shipped
  Slide 5: Team, founder + advisors
  Slide 6: Ask, $2M seed, 18-month runway, growth and senior eng hires
Audience: Early-stage VCs in the design-tools space.

Iterating on a deck

'Tighten slide 2, one headline stat, not three'
'Swap slide 4\'s bar chart for a line graph showing growth over time'
'Add a speaker-notes section to every slide'
'Make the title slide darker, more gravitas, less startup bounce'

Export paths

PPTX: Editable in PowerPoint or Keynote. Best when stakeholders want to tweak wording.
PDF: Locked layout. Best for email attachments and investor data rooms.
Canva: Send to Canva for social-media variants or on-brand versioning with a team.
Standalone HTML: Browser-based deck. Best for animated presentations or screen-share demos.

Dial down the visual weight for exec audiences

Claude's deck output tends to over-design. If your audience is investors or execs, ask for 'understated corporate, lots of whitespace, one visual per slide, no icons'. Over-designed decks look like startup pitches; understated decks look like Series C.
